Meet Lyric

Welcome to my world! I’m Lyric Abdul-Rasheed, a 20-year-old lip gloss addict, chemical engineering student, and aspiring entrepreneur at Bucknell University. My journey began at 16 with a DIY lip gloss kit, leading me to launch Lyric’s Lip Candy LLC during my freshman year. Since then, I’ve made history at Bucknell, from being the first student to participate in the Black Student Union Fashion Show to securing a Semi-Finalist award in the BizPitch competition.

I’ve integrated my business into my college experience, showcasing my products at various pop-up events and earning features in the Daily News and Bucknell magazine. As the first student to gain exclusive office space through the Small Business Development Center, I’m excited to nurture my entrepreneurial spirit and make a positive impact in my community. Currently, I’m also developing LLC², a mentorship program for children affected by drug abuse. Join me as I continue to innovate and inspire!
